Sierra is a junior at the University of Wyoming where she is studying Pre-Veterinary Medicine. Throughout her undergraduate studies and high school, Sierra developed an interest in wildlife disease, particularly brucellosis and bighorn sheep pneumonia and hopes to study these for the rest of her career. She aspires to be a wildlife pathologist and work in Wyoming after attending veterinary school. Sierra grew up on a farm in Wyoming where she developed a love for hunting, hiking, horse riding and training, and all-things-outdoors. Outside of school and hunting season, Sierra is an active member of St. Paul’s Newman Center in Laramie, on the Wild Sheep Foundation Board of Directors, and spends time with her family and pets at home.
