Noah Hull, MPH, PhD
Noah is originally from Los Angeles, CA but headed out to Wyoming to complete is undergraduate studies at the University of Wyoming in molecular biology. He then completed his master of public health with a concentration in epidemiology and global health at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He was lured back to Wyoming by Dr. Schumaker to work on the global disease of brucellosis. He completed his PhD in October 2017. His PhD project addressed the creation of novel diagnostics that aim to replace the current gold standard of bacteria culture for brucellosis in wildlife and livestock. His interest are in infectious disease at the wildlife/livestock – human interface with interest in human infectious disease. He is currently the Microbiology Testing Program Manager at the Wyoming Public Health Lab in Cheyenne, WY.
When not in the lab, he enjoys the many fishing opportunities that Wyoming has to offer. He also enjoys spending time with his partner, Ashley, and their husky, Tesla.
